Down On the West Coast, They've Got A Sayin'
First off, let me add that this set was mostly inspired by the lovely Lana Del Rey's new single "West Coast", that she debuted at her Vegas show at the Cosmopolitan a few days before the Coachella music festival.
If you haven't heard it, have a listen :)
It's safe to say i've listened to this song over 100 times I'm so obsessed with it! I Also strongly urge you download this song (or any/all of her songs really) off of iTunes.
The other main influencer was the fact that I made this on Earth Day, and wanted to keep it "natural" with Earthy tones like greens and brown, and this kelly-green dress (found at Yoox.com), is totally perfect, paired with these strappy gladiator sandals from Forever 21, a sunhat, and this gorgeous bag by Oliver Bonas! Going along with the earth tones, I accented the outfit with gold jewelry, including the " Amrapali Circular Colllar" necklce by Lucky Brand and these Kenneth Jay Lane earrings found at Zappos.com. To finalize this set, I added a pair of round cat eye rimmed sunglasses.
Overall, this is a super chic look for the following months, and perfect for a stroll through Central Park in Manhattan, or perhaps a shopping trip to The Grove in LA. :)
